It’s not Dark yet, but it’s gettin’ there.

I’m at LAX on my way out of town for the long weekend. Bristol Palin is on the cover of People magazine, holding her baby. In it, she apparently talks about how if girls knew how hard it was to be a parent, no one would be having sex. Uh, sorry sweetheart, I’m gonna try to go easy on you since you clearly come from less than prime DNA donors, but you couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. Most teen girls know how hard it would be to be a parent and therefore choose to practice SAFE SEX. Any single mom without a high school diploma preaching abstinence should be muzzled for her and our own good.
Jessica Simpson is on the cover of Vanity Fair. Why? I hate to pile on, and I couldn’t give two shits if she’s put on weight or not, she just isn’t talented. Can’t act to save her sould and lip synchs her concerts. Why do we celebrate such mediocrity? Is it so we can believe that we too could be famous one day, if only we got our lucky break? To feel that “they” of the celeb world are no better or more talented than the rest of us? Yet another question we may never know the answer to since they just called my row to board. I’m out.
