Who Would of Thunk It?

Some dude at Fox News comes out with the most appropriate response to the madness that occurred during the Bush Administration? I’m as surprised as anyone.
Nice one, Shep. You’re dead on accurate. You’ll probably be out of work in the next 72 hours, but you’re still dead on accurate. If you need a gig, i could use someone to cut license plates, although sadly, due to the economy and subsequent slow sales, it’s only a part time sitch at the moment.
As I stated to a friend a few hours before I saw this, I’d rather see my country defeated, than see my country torture. If we can’t survive our way, the right way, as good and decent human beings who treat others as such, then we don’t deserve to survive at all. We are all in this together, folks. And yes, there are madmen out there who would go to any lengths to destroy us, but torturing them and their followers only makes their arguments for them. Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, these are the greatest recruiting tools Al Qaeda has.
Torture. Doesn’t. Work. In the short term as far as getting accurate intelligence? FAIL. In the long term as far as making America and the world safer from extremists of any kind? EPIC FAIL.
Now, let’s put Rice and Cheney in prison and then, and only then, can we be done with it.
