I finally got my signage up. Â Looks good, I think. Â And yeah, that’s Brad and Cate on the billboards to the left of my shop. Â So Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchette and myself all have signage up on the same half block of Melrose. Â And mine’s bigger. Â Just sayin’.

The straight on shot.

Â
From the Back. Â Because, as we all know: Once you go back- oh, nevermind.
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
Â
California State Flag, on a panel instead of planks, and with a boxed edge. Â Not a new design, but it looks sharp this way. Â All pieces now available in this cleaner style. Â First, years ago, it was all cedar. Â Rough and rustic. Â Then I went to pine for a little cleaner look. Â Did a few pieces in leather and stainless steel, but I can’t make those backgrounds myself and that is just allowing too many other possibilities to screw up my production schedule. Â Now this look. Â It works. Â The USA Maps are going to look stellar this way!

What’s an art gallery without at least three pieces that have something to do with Bob Dylan? Â Throw in the Lizard King, and Jimmy Dean just for good measure, and you can’t go wrong. Â Meet me at the Five and Dime, Â Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean.

Oh, a storm is threatening
My very life today
If I dont get some shelter
Oh yeah, Im gonna fade away
Hope they don’t sue this poor kid.

From the front. Â For those of you in the midwest who prefer a more traditional angle.
Â

Â
The Map and the Dodgers. Â Hope they don’t sue either. Â

Hey kids, don’t forget: Â Get Your Kicks. Â Where? Â On Route 66. Â Where else? Â Can they sue? Â Doubtful.
Â
And remember also, official Grand Opening on the 16th, 7-11pm. Â 7669 Melrose Ave @ Spaulding. Â I even think I’m gonna go.
