Worst Case Scenario: VA and PA

If it’s going to be a close race, it’s all going to boil down to Virginia and Pennsylvania. Obama has 238 electoral votes locked down without them. Virginia is worth 13 and Pennsylvania is worth 21. That’s 272 if he can win them both. And it only takes 270 to win.
He has large leads in both. 8-10 points at last report. And that gives him the White House. Without Florida. Without Ohio. Without North Carolina. Without New Mexico. Without Colorado. Without Nevada. Without Indiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Georgia or Arizona. All of which he has a chance to win and all of which McCain has to win or else.
What’s that? The national polls are tightening? Who gives a shit? Just ask Al Gore how much winning the popular vote is worth. That and eight bucks will get you a cup of bad coffee and the stink eye at Starbucks. The fat is in the fire and the deal is about to go down and the United States of America is about to elect a black man for President. Good for us.
But I’m still a nervous wreck.
